It's funny the things you learn about people after you actually live with them, Jay thought sullenly. Like whether or not the person is a slob. Just from looking at Tina, you'd never expect her to be so messy! Not a hair out of place, perfectly groomed... She just expected the world to clean up after her.
But he supposed she more than made up for that in other ways...
"Mr. McMillan, I just want you to know that I have no intention of letting this pregnancy get in the way of my career. I'm going to work twice as much!" Tina told her boss.
Chance smiled kindly. "Now, now, there's no need for that. There will be plenty of time once your baby is born."
But that wasn't good enough for Tina. She went to work early & stayed as late as possible, hoping to make a good impression. After all, she'd only just started working there when she'd discovered her pregnancy! She'd wanted to wait a few years... but all that honeymooning nixed that plan!
Her work ethic was noted though...
Right about the same time Jays' were...
She was ready to get back to normal once the baby was born!

Jay couldn't wait for family & friends to meet his new little girl. Gosh, life couldn't get better than this...
....even if he had to mop up every now and then...
