All it had taken was one date & Fletcher had been hooked...
"Hi Emily," he greeted her with a soft kiss. "I've been waiting for you. I'd like you to meet my Dad!"
Fletcher stood by proudly as his girlfriend and his Dad exchanged pleasantries. This was going just like he'd been planning!
Then, dropping to one knee, he proposed.
Freddie caught Julie's eye across the room. Looked like they had some celebrating to do!
"To Fletcher & Emily," Freddie said as he raised his glass.
Emily felt so overwhelmed meeting all of his family. She hoped they liked her!
And all of his friends! Goodness! The house was full of people milling around and she didn't know any of them! It was a little disconcerting...
But, the moment he slid the ring on her finger and called her Mrs. Emily Hart, she had known without a doubt that this is where she belonged.
It wasn't a surprise to anyone when they happily announced they were expecting.
Everyone knew how much Fletcher loved the idea of raising a big family.
Fletcher just couldn't wait. He imagined this little baby the first of many that he and Emily were going to have!
