Lestat scrubbed the stainless steel counters until they gleamed, satisfied that they were ready for company.
He'd invited their family over to see their remodeled home.
The adults all sat in the livingroom and chatted about what was going on.
"Where are the kids?" Marissa asked.
"Oh, I'm sure they're somewhere getting to know each other."
Oh yeah, they were getting to know each other all right...
Lestat couldn't help but be proud of his little son, Lee. And how fast he was growing up!
Even better was that Alyssa was expecting another child soon!
He couldn't wait to have a little girl that he could love and spoil. One as beautiful as her mother!
"Lestat!" Alyssa called as the labor pains gripped her.
Groggily he got out of bed and paced around the room until she'd delivered their sweet newborn.
Little boy Alistair!
"I know you were wanting a little girl," Alyssa said as she passed over the baby to him.
Lestat smiled down at his son. "I know. But, he's perfect! And we can always try again," he joked as he wiggled his eyebrows.
(Ack! Cuteness alert!)
"I love you, Dad!" Lee said as he hugged his father goodnight. "I'll see you in the morning!"
